Taopatch Skin & Other Strong Adhesive Tapes for Skin Use With Taopatch

Taopatch can be attached to specific acupuncture points on the body using adhesive tapes. There are many skin tapes available in the market. We have asked our existing customers to know which ones they are using with their patches.

Here are examples of adhesive tapes you can use with Taopatch:

3M Medical Transpore Tape

This is the most popular tape amongst our customers, so much so that we decided to include a roll in each order of Taopatch.

Here are the pros of using this tape:

  • Strong stickiness: This tape is very strong and can stick through sweat and hair with no issues.
  • Waterproof: They are waterproof and can stay on in the shower or swimming with them.
  • Breathable: 3M Transpore take is breathable thanks to the tiny holes in the tape which allows moisture trapped in between the tape and skin to pass through.

And here are the cons:

  • Adhesive residue: The tape may leave some adhesive residue on the skin or on the patch which can easily be removed using a natural oil or simply rubbing it off with a damp cloth.
  • Not for sensitive skin: Because it can stick on the skin very well, removing it may sometimes pull hair or irritate sensitive skin.
